This jacket's material tests my knowledge on textiles. The wales are not distinctive enough for it to be corduroy, but the hand feels clearly like terrycloth, similar to many 70s polos from the I've handled over the years. I have tossed in the towel, and labeled it as a terrycloth corduroy. It has many attractive features such as it's utilitarian pockets, earth toned shearling, and large talon zipper. I imagine this would make an excellent winter jacket.
